Tussah Silk is a wild silk.  As the silk is produced in the wild and not in a controlled environment the silk tends to be coarser and less lustrous than Mulberry silk.

Noil is the short fiber left over from combing wool or spinning silk and used as a decorative additive for many spinning projects like rovings and yarns. 

Perfect for adding texture to a carded batt, paper making or felting.
