Iona Greenstone is a 2,700-million-year-old combination of serpentine and limestone. A vein of it is to be found under St. Columba's Bay at the southern end of the Island. Occasionally, these stones wash up on the shore among the other numerous pebbles there, and are known as St. Columba's tears.
Please know that all fibers are feltable unless otherwise noted. Handwash and air dry to avoid felting.
