These are amazing Bronze Horses which are seen in Venice today.
The sculptures date from classical antiquity. Many scholars believe they were sculpted in the 2nd or 3rd century AD.
The horses were placed on the façade, above the porch, of St Mark's Basilica in Venice, after the sack of Constantinople in 1204.
The originals were moved inside for preservation and there are replicas outside in place.
All batts are lovingly blended hand dyed fibers, carded by hand on fine tooth drum carders for your fiber crafting pleasure.
Please know that all fibers are feltable unless otherwise noted. Handwash and air dry to avoid felting. Every attempt is made to provide accurate photographs; however, be aware that color may vary from monitor to monitor ( background is white in reality if that helps!)
